My Own Squirrel is an original mixed-media artwork featuring a curious squirrel standing among delicate white daisies in a sunlit meadow. Created using woodburning (pyrography) and watercolor, this piece combines intricate burned lines with soft washes of earthy browns, fresh greens, and warm golden tones. The detailed textures bring the squirrel's fur to life, while the daisies and flowing blades of grass create a playful, storybook-like atmosphere.
With its expressive character and gentle sense of humor, this artwork celebrates the charm of wildlife and the simple joys of the natural world. The contrast between the detailed woodburning and the fluid watercolor allows the natural wood grain to become part of the composition, making each element feel unique.
A whimsical original for animal lovers, nature enthusiasts, or anyone looking to add a little personality and warmth to their space.
