I am able to combine my passions for creativity and animals, creating meaningful pieces while giving back to the rescue organizations

That’s me!

My story

Art has been a part of my life since my freshman year of high school, when I first discovered the joy of creating and expressing myself through visual art. That passion led me to the University of Georgia, where I earned my degree in Art Education and developed a deeper appreciation for both the creative process and the impact art can have on others.

Since 2020, I have been an elementary art teacher, helping young artists discover their creativity, build confidence, and find their own artistic voices. Watching my students grow has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey. Along the way, however, I realized that while I was helping others become artists, I also wanted to continue growing as an artist myself.

Today, my work focuses primarily on watercolor and pyrography (wood burning). I am drawn to watercolor because of its fluidity and versatility—the way it can be layered, manipulated, and allowed to develop organically. Pyrography has introduced me to a different kind of artistic connection, one that embraces the natural character of the wood itself. Rather than forcing a design onto the material, I enjoy working with its grain, texture, and imperfections, allowing the artwork and the material to exist in harmony.

Whether I'm painting with watercolor or burning designs into wood, my goal is to create pieces that celebrate beauty, nature, and meaningful connections. Every piece is an opportunity to slow down, embrace the creative process, and let the materials help tell the story.

Creating for a cause

Another passion of mine is animals, which you may have noticed through my love of creating animal-inspired artwork. Animals have always held a special place in my heart, and I am grateful that my artwork allows me to combine my creativity with a cause I deeply care about.

As my art business grows, I want it to make a positive impact beyond the artwork itself. That's why I donate 10% of my earnings to the Lifeline Animal Project, an organization that is especially meaningful to me. Over the years, I have both adopted and fostered animals through Lifeline, and I have seen firsthand the incredible work they do to help animals find safe, loving homes.

Supporting animal welfare is important to me, so in addition to these business donations, I personally contribute $100 each month to help animals in need. My hope is that every piece of artwork not only brings joy to its new home but also helps support animals on their journey to finding one of their own.
