My Muse is an original mixed-media portrait created on a round wooden panel using woodburning (pyrography) and watercolor. The artwork captures the gentle expression of a young girl, with delicate woodburned lines bringing definition and personality to her features. Soft washes of lavender, blush pink, and warm yellow create a dreamlike atmosphere, while the natural wood grain adds depth and texture to the composition.
Inspired by the beauty of childhood and the individuality of each person, this piece celebrates the expressive qualities that make portraiture so meaningful. The combination of intricate linework and translucent watercolor creates a balance between detail and softness, resulting in a portrait that feels both intimate and imaginative.
